Looking north up Spadina Rd from Bloor St W in The Annex neighbourhood of Toronto.
The archive photo shows the York Apartments on the left, the Bank of Nova Scotia on the right and the streetcar track that once ran along Bloor St.
The present-day photo shows a widened roadway. The York Apartments, which date back to 1912, still stand today, while Scotiabank continues to operate at the northeast corner, now in a contemporary building.
