Looking south towards 235, 237 and 239 Queen St W, between Simcoe St and Duncan St, in the Entertainment District of Toronto.

The establishments in the archive photo, from left to right, include Mrs. Annie Suomi Restaurant (Quick Lunch), William E. Smith barbershop, Louis Kirshenblat barbershop and St. Patrick’s Billiards & Pool. In 2007, the city added these three buildings to the heritage register. Notice that the centre storefront still features bevelled leaded-glass transom windows today.
