Looking east towards Granby Parkette from Yonge St, in the Downtown Yonge area of Toronto.
Granby St once intersected with Yonge St and allowed vehicle traffic. In the early 1980s, this intersection was closed, and a parkette was created.
The archive photo shows when the building in the left foreground was home to the Academy Seafood & Steak Restaurant. The building in the right foreground is the College View Apartments.
