Looking southwest towards the corner of Yonge St and College St, in the Downtown Yonge area neighbourhood of Toronto.

Several of the businesses featured in the archive photo, from right to left, include Arthur C. Harding, the barber; Nicholas Mandies, the shoe shiner; Davies Wm Company, which provided provisions; Newcombe Piano Company; and Wm M. Percy, the optician. Today, this site is home to College Park, which was formerly the location of the Eaton’s College Street Store, which was constructed between 1928 and 1930.
