Looking southwest towards the corner of King St W and Bay St in the Financial District of Toronto.
The archive photo shows the former Bank of Toronto building, which stood at the corner from 1912 until its demolition in 1966. In the late 1960s, the Toronto-Dominion Centre was built in its place. In 1982, elements of the original Bank of Toronto structure were reconstructed to create the open-air Greek Theatre at Guild Park & Gardens.
