St Stanislaus Kostka Parish – originally West Presbyterian Church

St Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, originally West Presbyterian Church, is located at 12 Denison Ave (at Wolseley St on the southwest corner, north of Queen St W) in the Alexandra Park neighbourhood of Toronto.

The oldest Polish parish in Toronto, St Stanislaus Kostka Church history dates back to 1911 when the parish took over the structure.

Built in 1879/80, at a cost of about $20,500, architects Gordon & Helliwell designed the church in the Gothic Revival style. The cornerstone was laid on August 12, 1879.
