Looking towards the St Lawrence Market South, located at the southwest corner of Front St E and Jarvis St in the St Lawrence neighbourhood of Toronto. In the early 1970s, the building narrowly escaped demolition thanks to a group of citizens who helped save the historic gem. The structure had undergone renovations which were completed in 1978.
