Looking southeast towards the corner of Richmond St W and Maud St, in the Fashion District of Toronto.
St Andrew’s Market, which once occupied the corner, is in the archive photo. Between 1931 and 1932, the market was torn down and replaced with the Water Works Building. The heritage-designated façade of the former Water Works Building is today incorporated into the new development.
