June 13, 2021 – Rose and Sons was once at 176 Dupont St, in the Dupont by the Castle neighbourhood of Toronto. The restaurant repurposed the signs that once featured the storefront’s previous occupant, People’s Foods. The words “PEOPLE’S” and “HAMBURGERS” were removed from the storefront sign, just leaving the word “FOODS”. The tall sign that once read “HAMBURGERS” was changed to “PASTRAMI”. Rose and Sons closed in 2022. As of July 2025, the “PASTRAMI” sign remains in place; however, the storefront is occupied by Chilliy Pepper Tacos

December 29, 2019 – The Canadian General Electric Company Limited Ward Street Works ghost sign is located on a water tower at 224 Wallace Ave in the Junction-Wallace Emerson neighbourhood of Toronto. The water tower is part of a building that was once a Canadian General Electric (CGE) plant, constructed in the early 1920s. Initially, the factory focused on manufacturing lamp bases and served as the electric supply works division of the company. The CGE plant closed around 1980, and the building was repurposed for commercial use

However, its original sign and several interior features have been preserved and incorporated into the new residential building that today occupies the site
