Looking southeast towards the gates at Winchester St and Sumach St in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood. The archive photo shows when Riverdale Farm and Park was home to the Riverdale Zoo. The zoo opened in 1884 and closed in 1974 when the animals were moved to Metropolitan Toronto Zoo.
