Redeemer Lutheran Church is located at 1691 Bloor St W (at Indian Rd on the southwest corner) in the High Park-Swansea neighbourhood of Toronto.
The ground-breaking ceremonies for “the church on the hill” took place in August 1947. It was designed by architects Hank & Irwin and cost approximately $48,000 to construct. The brick church is trimmed with stone and features a gable. Inside the 200-seat Redeemer Lutheran Church, there are exposed beams in the nave, matching wooden pews and chancel furniture, along with a lighted cross over the altar.
