The archive photo shows crowds gathered around the Princess Margaret Fountain, with portions of the Queen Elizabeth Building and the former Exhibition Grandstand visible in the background, to the left, and the former Manufacturers’ Building to the right. The fountain was inaugurated by Princess Margaret in 1958. Today, this two-tiered fountain, surrounded by a beautiful flower garden, continues to be a graceful centerpiece at the CNE and Exhibition Place.
