The Opera House mosaic tile entryway is located at 735 Queen St E (at Lewis St, on the southwest corner) in the Riverside neighbourhood of Toronto.
Both entrances welcome visitors with a colourful mosaic tile design featuring a scrolling floral and vine pattern. This historic building was originally constructed as La Plaza Theatre in 1909, where it showcased vaudeville acts before shifting to movies. In 1989, the venue underwent a transformation and became The Opera House, a destination for live entertainment.
