The former McLaughlin Planetarium is located at 90 Queens Park on the south side of the Royal Ontario Museum in the University of Toronto – St George Campus area.
The McLaughlin Planetarium, established in 1968 and funded by Colonel R Samuel McLaughlin with $2 million, closed its doors in 1995. Since 2009, the University of Toronto has owned the historic building, which now houses artifacts under the care of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM).
