Looking towards McLaughlin Building at the northwest corner of Bay St and Grenville St in downtown Toronto.
The historic building initially served as the Toronto dealership of the McLaughlin Motor Company, which was a subsidiary of General Motors of Canada established by R.S. McLaughlin of Oshawa. Its construction in 1925 embraced the Neo-Gothic style and was designed by the architectural firm Hutton and Souter.
Transitioning over the years, from 1955 to 2007, it housed the Addison on Bay Cadillac dealership. Notably, in 1989, the building received official heritage status from the city. Today, a restaurant operates from the building.
