Looking towards McLaughlin Building at the northwest corner of Bay St and Grenville St in downtown Toronto.
The building originally served as the Toronto dealership of the McLaughlin Motor Company, a General Motors of Canada subsidiary founded by R.S. McLaughlin of Oshawa. It was constructed in 1925 in the Neo-Gothic style, with its design being the work of the architectural firm Hutton and Souter. From 1955 to 2007, the building was home to the Addison on Bay Cadillac dealership, and in 1989, it was granted heritage status by the city. Currently, it houses a restaurant.
