The archive photo features several establishments from left to right: Camille Shoes, Studio 267, Dante’s (an after-hours dancing venue), the Imperial Theatre, Chapman Bros Jewellers, and the Saxony Restaurant. Notice the marquee of the Imperial Theatre, which displays “A Majority of One,” starring Rosalind Russell, Alec Guinness, and Ray Danton, released in 1961. Today, the theatre is known as the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre.
