Grover Theatre was once located at 2714 Danforth Ave (west of Dawes Rd on the north side) in the Danforth Village neighbourhood of Toronto.
The Grover opened in the late-1920s and closed in the mid-1950s. The former theatre building has had a variety of uses.

Thanks for the memories. Every Saturday in 1953 and 1954 went here for a short (ie. Flash Gordon) a cartoon and a feature. Don’t know if you can help but need a photo of the Chainway store very close to the Grover during the same period.
Hi Murray, Glad you enjoyed the post! We have added a photo above dated May 1963. On the right side of the photo is a sign with the letters “CHA”. Could this be the Chainway store? I could not find a full picture of it though. If I do come across one, I will let you know.
