First Church of Christian Association – Today Club L’age D’or Sacre-Coeur

Originally the First Church of the Christian Association, today Club L’age D’or Sacre-Coeur is located at 474 Ontario St (north of Carlton St on the west side next to Winchester Square Park) in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto.

Built in 1905, architect Frederick J Bird designed the church in the Gothic Revival style. The symmetrical structure features a simple rose window and a steeply pitched roof with gabled dormers.

The building received heritage status from the City of Toronto in 1974 and the Ontario Heritage Trust in 1985.
