The buildings in the archive photo are arranged from left to right as follows: the Process & Implements Building, which stood from 1906 until the 1960s; the Art Gallery, constructed in 1905 and demolished in 1973; the Police & Fire Station, replaced by the current fire hall in 1912; and the Railways Building, built in 1905, restored after a fire in the 1980s, and today known as the Music Building.
