Looking northeast towards the Confederation Life Building at 20 Richmond St E, between Yonge St and Victoria St in downtown Toronto.
The Romanesque Revival-style structure incorporates French Gothic elements. Built between 1890 and 1892, it was designed by the architects Knox, Elliot & Jarvis. The city designated the building as a heritage site in 1973 and received recognition from the Ontario Heritage Trust two years later.
