The Coca-Cola ghost sign is located at 1254 Jane St (at the southwest corner of Weston Rd) in the Weston neighbourhood of Toronto.
On the north-facing wall of the building, there is a red and white “Coca-Cola” ghost sign. This sign was once covered by several smaller signs attached to wooden slats on the side of the building. Most of these smaller signs were removed around 2012, and the remaining ones were taken down by 2019, revealing the vintage Coca-Cola sign (and slats) once again.
Although it’s hard to know when the ghost sign was painted, the building was home to Bill’s Shoe Repair from the 1940s through to the early 1970s, after which it served as a residence for several years, followed by a computer shop.
