Looking northwest towards the corner of Church St and Richmond St E, in the Old Town, St Lawrence neighbourhood of Toronto.
The building located directly at the corner was constructed in 1908 for the McLaughlin Carriage Company. Designed by architects Wickson & Gregg, it originally served as a warehouse. Today, this building is used as office space.
To its right is the former Bank of Nova Scotia, which was built in the late 1920s and operated as a bank branch until 2018. In the background to the right, the four spirelets of Metropolitan United Church and the steeple of St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica are visible.
