Looking southwest towards the corner of Church St and Richmond St E, in the Old Town, St Lawrence neighbourhood of Toronto.
The four-storey building, designed by architect David Roberts Jr, was constructed in 1882 and was originally the Windsor House. As shown in the archive photo, it was renamed the New Windsor House and later McVeigh’s Irish Pub.
