Looking northwest up University Ave from Richmond St W towards the Canada Life Building in downtown Toronto.
Built in 1930/31, the second-generation skyscraper was designed by Toronto architects Sproatt & Rolph in the Beaux-Arts style. The building received heritage status from the city in 1973. Canada Life, an insurance and wealth management company, has operated for over 170 years and still calls this historic gem home.
