Looking southwest towards Berkeley Street Wesleyan Methodist Church at the corner of Queen St E and Berkeley St, in the Old Town neighbourhood of Toronto.
The church, constructed in 1871, showcases the Gothic Revival style designed by architects James Smith & William Gemmell. Recognized for its historical significance, the building earned heritage status from the City of Toronto in 1973 and was later designated under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1997. In more recent years, the former church building was home to an events venue, which has since closed.
