The Barber Shop mosaic tile and terrazzo storefront entryway is located at 154 Main St (south of Gerrard St E) in the Upper Beaches neighbourhood of Toronto.
At the entrance of what is today home to Equipped Laundry, there is an eye-catching mosaic tile floor featuring the words “BARBER SHOP” embedded in a neutral-toned terrazzo. Historical records from the Toronto City Directory show that this address was home to two barbers, namely Arthur Booth from 1937 to 1954 and Joseph Forestieri from 1955 to 1960. This entrance floor is unique as it combines both mosaic tiles and terrazzo.
