Anshei Minsk Synagogue – In the Kensington Market Neighbourhood

Beth Israel Anshei Minsk Synagogue is located at 10 St Andrew St (just west of Spadina Ave on the north side) in the Kensington Market neighbourhood of Toronto.

Construction began in 1922 and was completed in 1930. Architects Kaplan & Sprachman designed the synagogue in the Byzantine Revival style. The main facade features an entrance stairway, two large wooden doorways, twin towers and stained-glass windows.
