Looking northeast at the corner of King St E and Parliament St, towards what was originally the Aluminum & Crown Stopper Company buildings in the Corktown neighbourhood of Toronto.
The building located at 334 King St E was constructed between 1911 and 1912 and designed by architect Frederick Henry Herbert. Just north of this corner, at 91 Parliament St, is the company’s previous factory building, notable for its arched roofline. This earlier factory, designed by architect Henry Simpson, was built between 1907 and 1908. Both buildings were added to the city’s heritage register in 1984 and now serve as commercial and office spaces.
