Alexandra Hotel – Once at Queen St W & Elizabeth St

Alexandra Hotel was once located at 102-104 Queen St W and Elizabeth St (when they intersected) on the northwest corner in downtown Toronto. The Toronto City Directory has the hotel first listed at the address in the 1883 publication. The last time the hotel was listed in the directory was in 1954, known as the Alexandra House.

The hotel and block were demolished to make way for Nathan Phillips Square and Toronto City Hall.

2023 - Alexandra Hotel was once located at 102-104 Queen St W and Elizabeth St (when they intersected). In today's terms, it would have on the north side and just east of the pedestrian bridge over Queen St W. The Alexandra Hotel, along with the entire block, were torn down for the construction of Nathan Phillips Square and Toronto City Hall
