The A.T. Levin Optometrist terrazzo storefront entryway is located at 1226 Bloor St W (between Dufferin St and Lansdowne Ave) in the Bloordale Village neighbourhood of Toronto.
As guests step inside the vestibule of the storefront that now houses Bar Neon, they’re greeted with a stunning terrazzo floor from a bygone era. A section of gold and green terrazzo flooring is visible, which features the name “A.T. Levin OPTOMETRIST” in black lettering. According to the Toronto City Directory, Alfred Levin operated an optometry practice at this location from 1949 to 1991. While the businesses in the storefront have changed over the years, the terrazzo floor serves as a nostalgic reminder of the building’s history.
