A Good Hotel – Once on Bay St, south of Dundas St W

Posted:

A Good Hotel was once located at 572 Bay St, south of Dundas St W in downtown Toronto. The Toronto City Directory has the hotel first listed in the 1936 publication; however, before that, the building was home to A Good Alex Restaurant.

By 1952, A Good Hotel was renamed the Bay House. In the early 1970s, the former hotel became Charlie O’s Keg Tavern and later the London Tavern Pub.

The building was torn down, and today the site is occupied by a mixed-used building.
