The 2½-storey semi-detached houses can be found at 9 and 11 Spadina Rd, situated north of Bloor St W and adjacent to the Spadina subway station in the Annex district of Toronto.
These red brick-clad houses were constructed in 1889 and showcase intricate stone and wood detailing. According to the archive photo, 9 Spadina Rd was formerly used as the Karabanow Tourist Home. It’s worth noting that these houses were given heritage status by the city back in 1974.
