The five-pointed star terrazzo storefront entryway is located at 411 Roncesvalles Ave (south of Howard Park Ave) in the Roncesvalles Village neighbourhood of Toronto.
At the entrance of what is now Ya Bikes!, there is an elegant terrazzo floor that welcomes customers into the shop. It features a cream and green five-pointed star set against a cream-coloured background, along with the street number, all framed by a green border.
Historical records from the Toronto City Directory show that Sam Gold operated a laundry service at this location from 1934 to 1942. Over the years, the storefront has also housed several businesses, including Charlton Morris Biscuiteria, Earl’s Shoe Store, Mike’s Pet Shop, Nada Boutique & Gifts, and Roncesvalles Hair Salon.
