Looking east towards 275 Yonge St, just south of Dundas St E, in the Downtown Yonge area of Toronto.

The archive photo features several establishments from left to right, including part of the Nickelodeon, Safari Leather Wear, The Jewel Case, Ed Provan Men’s Clothes, and the Manhattan Transfer Ladies’ & Men’s Wear.

The two-storey building at 275 Yonge St was constructed in 1868 for John Bugg. The structure received heritage status from the city in 1973. Today, the building is home to 3 Brasseurs Microbrewery.
