The burst-patterned terrazzo storefront entryway is located at 1172 Bloor St W (between Russett Ave and Pauline Ave) in the Bloordale Village neighbourhood of Toronto.
At the entrance, there is a vibrant terrazzo floor with a pattern of yellow and green rays radiating outward. These rays encircle a round centrepiece featuring a black and red yin-yang motif. Historical records from the 1930 through 1961 Toronto City Directory show that this address was once the location of Hollywood Ladies Wear. At the time of publishing this article, the storefront is vacant.
